Description: Learn how to effectively manage the most important aspect of your business – your finances! Financial expert Michelle Burkart will present core and advanced level approaches to help you understand where your money is going and how to use the information to grow and strengthen your business and increase profitability. This event is being hosted by the East County Economic Development Council and offered at no-cost thanks to our sponsor, Wells Fargo. In order to make this session more relevant to your business, if you currently are set up on Quick Book Pro and have financial reports (Balance sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and Cash flow Statement) you might want to bring them with you. This way you can apply the concepts right then to your business. You can use a year to date profit/loss statement (Jan –Nov 30 2012 or Oct 31 2012). The balance sheet and cash flow should match the end date ( Nov 30 or Oct 31). If you do not have these reports, don't worry, a sample of each will be provided for review.
